In honor of the US Veterans from all Wars, Memorial Day is Celebrated every year. It is the time to honor all American soldiers or sailor who has fought and died in an American war. Memorial Day a legal holiday, observed annually on the last Monday in May in most of the United States, in honor of the nation's armed services personnel killed in wartime.
In this connection, residents from the nursing home where I work also will celebrate memorial day. Last year, residents who were veterans or who were on the service before, were given a certificate of award for being a veteran. There were also short activities in honor to them, like music playing and food to eat.
