Designer Nursing Scrubs

Working in the health care field is one of the most secured jobs. I've been working as a nurse assistant for four years now. Of my four years, I've learned so many things. Dealing with residents could be stressful mentally, specially when your dealing with residents who have dementia or Alzheimer's. There were ups and downs. There were times that I wanted to cry but most of the times they made me laugh and made my day. Working in a nursing home, you get to know the family of the residents. That's why I always make sure I present myself professionally by wearing medical clothing scrubs with my name badge so they would recognized me. I have so many scrubs uniforms. Some of them are fashion scrubs that I bought online.

Last time I checked, I have more than ten medical scrub sets . I wear different sets every day. I am planning on buying two more sets when I get a chance. Good thing, that I can buy them online now on my convenient time. I just checked BlueSkyScrubs, and I am considering on buying medical uniforms later. Besides scrubs uniforms, they also sell medical accessories and medical coats.

#14 Tony "Smoke" Stewart

This guest post from Doris Dillon

Every Sunday from early February through late November, unless something comes up unexpectedly, you'll find me watching NASCAR on directv choice package, cheering on my man, Tony Stewart. When Tony's #14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet is doing well, so am I.
Tony is the first and only driver to have won championships in stock cars (Sprint Cup in 2002 and 2005), Indy cars (1997) and open-wheel Midget (1994 and 1995), Sprint (1995) and Silver Crown cars (1995). No matter what racing series, what kind of car or track, Tony's proven that he's as capable and as likely to be successful as any driver in history. Since NASCAR began the Chase for the Cup Series in 2004, Tony, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are the only drivers to have qualified for the Chase each season.

Until Tony formed his own team in 2009, (Stewart-Haas Racing) he demonstrated his consistency and loyalty by having the same team, sponsor and crew chief for 10 seasons, a NASCAR record almost certain to never be matched in today's era of drivers and sponsors switching constantly from one season to the next.
Tony currently sits in 8th place in NASCAR's points standings and barring an unforeseen collapse, is a lock for his seventh consecutive Sprint Cup Chase. Only six drivers have won two or more championships, and I'm hoping when the 2010 season concludes, my man Tony Stewart will become the seventh.

Children and Allergies

If your child has had a severe allergic reaction in the past, you know how frightening it can be. Symptoms of breathing difficulty, itching, and swelling can come on quickly and become life-threatening. Giving your child an epinephrine shot can slow down or stop an allergic reaction. That's why it is important to have an allergy kit containing an epinephrine shot with you at all times and to know the right way to use it. It could save your child's life someday. But always consult your doctor before taking any medicines.

2010 Fantasy Football Setup

This guest post from Margaret Mills

With the NFL season right around the corner we now two things are for sure. First, the fall is coming and it will be getting colder soon. Second, that fantasy football will be talked about for the next five months. With that in mind it is useful to know how to set up a league.
The first thing you need is hughes wireless. If you do not have access to cable, like in my area, use satellite internet service instead. After this you can go to any of the various sports websites and click on the icon that allows you to form a league. Do not click on join a league since your goal is to build one from scratch.
Most leagues are set up with 10 - 14 teams, so be sure to have a list of friends ready to email. They should all be informed of when the draft will be since it is hard to get everyone on the same schedule. Also, make sure they are aware of any fees or charges in competing in the league. The goal is not to surprise anyone and have them want to drop out of your league.

Finally, after you have a draft you can modify and set up divisions, update rosters, and get ready for the season to start.

Make Your Dorm Feel More Like Home

This guest post from Werner Rogers

When leaving for college it is hard to leave all of the comforts of home behind but there are a few things I always make sure to have with me. All of those late night study sessions can leave you exhausted so crawling into a comfy bed is always a must for me. I make sure to get a very comfy pillow and a warm soft blanket, and extra long twin bed sheets. I can't focus if I didn't get decent rest.
Another thing that I bring along is my lap top. This is of course necessary for school work but I also use it to keep in touch with friends and family from home. I make sure to have Directv amd 4g internet bundle for communicating and also so that I can take a course or two online.
Since most dorms do not have private bathrooms I always bring a robe that keeps me warm and covered as I walk back to my room. Flip flops for the shower are important too as you certainly don't want to shower bare footed.

My ultimate luxury item that I make sure to have is a mini fridge. Not having to leave my room for a quick snack or cold beverage while I study keeps me from getting distracted. It makes my room feel just a bit more like home.

Boardroom Leadership

Guest post written by Edward Roberts

Many would say that a career can be made in a board room – and I would agree with them.
I’ve worked in business since I graduated from college and am highly conscious of how to come off in a board room to demand respect of your colleagues, employees and supervisors. I’ve personally made so many quick judgments on people from how they’ve reacted in the board room and in meetings that after one meeting in which I was having trouble hearing one person speak, I made the decision to look at miracle ear hearing aids prices.

I found some that I could settle on and started doing a lot of research on the industry, the best models and how exactly these devices work. I made an appointment and got fitted with some digital hearing aids that were supposed to fit my specific hearing loss needs.

I was glad that I was proactive about my hearing problems before others took notice – or at least brought it to my attention. I’m more confident than ever in meetings and don’t feel like younger colleagues have an advantage over me simple because of their age.

The Importance of The Halftime Report

Content by Mitch Osborne

When most people hear the phrase 'The Halftime Report,' they're going to think it refers to halftime in a football game. This is not always the case. My favorite daytime television show is The Halftime Report and it has absolutely nothing to do with football. It does have to do with important numbers, though. That's because the halftime report is a daily report on the stock market. This might include what earnings were reported in the morning, what economic indicators are projected for the following morning, what CEOs are coming and going, and what the overall pulse of the consumer is. These are all important factors when it comes to the state of the economy.
These days, the most important common topic on The Halftime Report is government stimulus. People are very worried that once the stimulus runs out, the economy will fall into deflation, which would lead to a double-dip recession. I happen to believe this will happen, which is all the more reason I'm sure to watch The Halftime Report on the channels I get with direct tv best deals every single day. By keeping up with what's going on, I can adjust my investments accordingly. The only thing I don't like about the show is when someone who works for an investment brokerage firm comes on and lies through his teeth because he has a vested interest in how the market - and his company's stock - will perform. The Halftime Report is still my favorite show, though. It has to be.

IHOP

Contribution by Jacques Carr

Every Friday night, I get the kids ready and my husband sets the adt security alarm. We load up in the car to visit our favorite restaurant, which is International House of Pancakes, also known as IHOP. My kids love eating here. They are so nice to the kids that come to eat. The workers make you feel like you are a part of their family. They serve pancakes all day, and they also have a full lunch and dinner menu. They have chicken tender basket with fries that are out of this world! There are several different flavors of pancakes with about any flavor of syrup you can imagine. The kids can have them for lunch, dinner, or even as a side dish with another meal. The service is awesome. The staff is very friendly. It is a casual restaurant that we love because you do not have to dress up really nice to have dinner there. Sometimes we have office lunch meetings at IHOP, the service is great. You will never have better service in a restaurant. If you have never been to IHOP, you are missing out. Just try it once and I guarantee it will become one of your favorite spots to eat.

Back to School Sale

Most schools begins next week here in America. Parents and kids are busy shopping for school supplies and dorm stuffs. In fact, when we went to the grocery store today there are a lot of schools supplies that are on sale right now. I am planning on buying some for my nephews and niece back home for next school year. I'm sure it will be on sale until the end of the week.
According to the National Retailer Federation, the average family will spend $606 on back-to-school shopping for K-12 students this year, up from $549 last year. In fact, back-to-school is the second-biggest consumer spending event for retailers, behind the winter holidays. So, it is always a good idea to look for sales and coupons before buying school supplies and clothes.
