#14 Tony "Smoke" Stewart

This guest post from Doris Dillon

Every Sunday from early February through late November, unless something comes up unexpectedly, you'll find me watching NASCAR on directv choice package, cheering on my man, Tony Stewart. When Tony's #14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet is doing well, so am I.
Tony is the first and only driver to have won championships in stock cars (Sprint Cup in 2002 and 2005), Indy cars (1997) and open-wheel Midget (1994 and 1995), Sprint (1995) and Silver Crown cars (1995). No matter what racing series, what kind of car or track, Tony's proven that he's as capable and as likely to be successful as any driver in history. Since NASCAR began the Chase for the Cup Series in 2004, Tony, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are the only drivers to have qualified for the Chase each season.

Until Tony formed his own team in 2009, (Stewart-Haas Racing) he demonstrated his consistency and loyalty by having the same team, sponsor and crew chief for 10 seasons, a NASCAR record almost certain to never be matched in today's era of drivers and sponsors switching constantly from one season to the next.
Tony currently sits in 8th place in NASCAR's points standings and barring an unforeseen collapse, is a lock for his seventh consecutive Sprint Cup Chase. Only six drivers have won two or more championships, and I'm hoping when the 2010 season concludes, my man Tony Stewart will become the seventh.
